Perched at 1570m of altitude, Grimentz is a small pearl of authenticity in a line of picturesque mountain villages. In the winter, the ski resort welcomes holiday makers from December to April and opens its pistes to all levels of ski lovers, snowboarders or telemark fans. The ski conditions are generally good as the skiable area extends up to 3000m of altitude and has a panoramic view that overlooks the Val d’Anniviers and the Rhône Valley. The snow coverage is guaranteed up to an altitude of 2500m thanks to the village’s snow cannons. Those who want to go beyond the 50km of pistes of the resort can benefit from the common skipass which combines all the resorts in the valley, the SMS “Ski Montagne Soleil” skipass, and discover the 220km of pistes of the Val d’Anniviers (4 skiable areas: St-Luc/Chandolin, Grimentz, Zinal and Vercorin). Grimentz has all the facilities you need to make your ski holiday a memorable experience: a natural ice rink, a climbing wall, and a snow garden… Those who appreciate authenticity and conviviality will like this resort, which also benefits from a spa centre.
