Perched at an altitude of 1570m, Grimentz is a pearl of authenticity in the picturesque mountain villages. In winter, the resort caters for holiday makers from December through until April. Its pistes are open to all levels of skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers. The ski conditions are generally good as the area rises over 3,000m of altitude and has panoramic views overlooking Val d'Anniviers and the Rhone Valley. Good snow coverage is guaranteed from 2,500m, due to the resorts snow cannons. Those who want to go beyond the 50km of slopes can do so. The resort benefits from a common skipass which combines all the resorts in the valley with the SMS “Ski Montagne Soleil” skipass. This pass allows you to access over 220km of the Val d’Anniviers slopes which are made up of 4 skiable areas : St-Luc/Chandolin, Grimentz, Zinal and Vercorin.
